Did you know you have up to a year to gift a wedding present?
Eat, Drink & Be Married. Brad & Chanelle. October 11, 2014.

As I headed to my friend's wedding in October, wedding guest etiquette was at the forefront of my mind. Being 27 years old, the wedding scene is still pretty new to me. I always have a hard time finding the perfect gift and the perfect dress to wear.

I went online and peeked at their registry and found myself scrolling and scrolling in hopes to find the end. For some reason, even when they have made a list of all the things they want, it’s hard to choose. Sure, I can get them the place setting they registered for and the wine aerator sounds useful but is it something they will remember? After all, being invited to a wedding is an honor.
I wanted to think out of the registry box. Instead I got a custom engraved, wood cutting board from Wood Keeps. It's one of kind gift for my one of kind friend.

So what did I wear to the wedding? I only have two rules I go by:
1. No white, obviously
2. Nothing too slutty ;)

After a lot of online browsing and window shopping, I finally decided to go with a classic black lace dress from Free People (sold out now but they have a lot of similar dresses).

Oh ps- Wood Keeps not only makes board but they have amazing chevron jewelry. Check them out on Insta. #WoodKeepinItReal
